Our Galleries
Gallery 92 West is the home of the Fremont Area Art Association, a place for artists and art lovers to participate in as well as view the visual arts. Its purpose is to make these works of art more visible for the people of Fremont and the surrounding communities. Artists, representing a wide range of the visual arts, exhibit each month at our galleries. A reception for the artist(s) is hosted at the opening of each new exhibit. Exhibits and receptions are open to both members and the public with no admission charge.

Nancy Roberts - Memories of Africa
We are delighted to welcome Gallery member Nancy Roberts as one of the exhibiting artists during the month of December. Nancy was born and raised in western Iowa, north of Sioux City. She has had a love of art from a very young age. Her sister gave Nancy her first art kit at the age of 11. She graduated from high school and attended the University of Northern Iowa for 2 years, quit, got married, and had 3 children. When her children were in school, Nancy went back to college and gained her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Art. Nancy started teaching at Logan View Public Schools, where she has been for the past 20 years.
Through the years, Nancy has pursued her own art passions - creating graphite pencil drawings and acrylic paintings. Her favorite subject is animals. In 2024, Nancy and her husband took a trip to South Africa where she took over 4,000 photos. Many have become the subject matter for her drawings and paintings in this show entitled, "Memories of Africa." You will even find some abstract paintings that portray her feelings from this amazing trip. Nancy will retire next year in May and is looking forward to devoting more time to her love of art.
The Barbara Tellatin Gallery
About the Gallery
The Barbara Tellatin Gallery is lovingly named after longtime FAAA Member and Fremont artist and art teacher Barbara Tellatin. Barbara's husband purchased the naming rights to this space for the 2024 calendar year to honor her memory in the building and with the organization that she loved so much. Being the center of the guests' gathering at receptions and luncheons makes this gallery a favorite among exhibiting artists.
