Artist Receptions
Artist's Opening Receptions are always free and open to the public. Receptions celebrate the opening of a new exhibit at the Gallery, and usually take place on the first Thursday of the month. Beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until 7 p.m., guests enjoy food, drink, conversation, beautiful visual art exhibits and a brief presentation and message from that month's featured artists. It's a casual and comfortable time to visit with the artists and learn more about their artistic journey, inspiration and process.
Artists’ Spotlight Reception
Friday, Oct. 2, 5-7 p.m.
Please join us for the Artists' Spotlight Reception featuring the artwork of Cliff Hollestelle, Michael Forsberg and Ann Martin.
Annual Fundraising Gala
It was a record-breaking night at the 2025 FAAA Annual Gala held on Saturday, August 9! This year's theme Hello Dali was based on Salvador Dali's painting, "The Persistence of Memory." A sincere thank you to our 2025 dynamic duo of Dale Olson & Ken McElhose who once again stepped up to serve as Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. Attendees enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner and butterscotch bread budding provided by Fremont's own Osteria Kayla Restaurant. Tim Howard entertained as guests enjoyed an Aperol Spritz signature cocktail, all while bidding on the Silent Auction. A highlight of the evening was watching local artist, Ashley Spitsnogle paint a Live Auction masterpiece from start to finish right before their very eyes. Geoff Hall stepped up to emcee alongside auctioneer Brian Villwok (& Brian's beloved mother, Donna Millie) of Fremont Auction Company. All things were groovy for Tom & Evelyn McKnight when their 1970's hippie costumes won the best costume prize. A memorable time was had by all, and we are delighted to announce that the Gallery raised $116,540! Our most sincere thanks to every person who helped to make a grand evening.
