Create a one-of-a-kind pumpkin using a technique called Pate de Verre.
Using molds, instructor Dori Settles will guide students in making a small (approximately 4 inch) glass pumpkin. This will closely mimic the process she used to create the shoes featured in her "Shoes as Storytellers" October Gallery exhibit. The pumpkins are hollow and can accommodate a small battery-operated tea light or fairy lights. The pumpkins will be fired off-site and returned a week later to pick up.
** A mold will be made for each student - MUST have final count by October 1st. **
Class will be cancelled if at least 3 students have not registered by the registration cutoff date listed above.
